Thanks for the amazing entries for this event, it was such a nice small wholesome gathering ^^

For judging, I hired a few artists from a non-harpg equine art server to judge the art itself to avoid bias. I then compared story and against gallery to add the final tie breaking points

It was a little hard due to two pieces tying firmly for 1st place with the third only 2 points behind.

But after a decision to give 'vs gallery' one more point, we have a winner

Hm..probably taking Mabel out for a ride with my parents, my sister didn’t ride so it was the time i got all the attention for myself 🤗

I like the companionship more than the riding, but going really fast and flying through the air is a real thrill

Uh, totally, all those super impressive competitors? Although I would prefer a conversation over a piece of pen on paper, who wants those nowadays, so old fashioned. Let me think, There’s the winners of the olympics, even the runners up are super cool, people who have their shit together and look good while doing it, I’m a fan of them. Maybe a few of them have an instagram? I’d love a shoutout...Uh, if you want specifics, I think Alexa is super cool, there’s Ryan too, awesome rider. Simon and his business is something cool to me because I want to have my own one day, although not quite sure how I’d ever have the organization skills. Kaira is an amazing rider, actually pretty much everyone I’ve seen competing has seemed so cool, maybe i think people are cool too easily? I mean there’s nothing wrong with being friendly i love meeting new people and new horses, dogs are always a blast too,, what was i talking about?

What is the strangest or funniest thing that has happened to you while on the job/riding?

Literally anything Endgame does is strange, although I assume people seeing her drag me around dont soon forget it.

GIANT POOL PARTY! Inside pool...although it doesnt get that cold here even in winter. But if i dont get completely wasted and do something everyone regrets then its a wasted chance.

What is your fondest childhood memory?

When I told my mother I got my first job in secondary school, and she looked so relieved I could help out, we got an Ice cream and sat together in the park, forgetting all of our problems and taking the time to celebrate.

What do you consider to be your biggest flaw?

Assuming we mean mental, I guess I dont give people the chance, but I don’t with good reason, I have no proof to suggest otherwise that anyone I meet is a good person.

Halloween is stupid, and I hate adults that celebrate it.

What was your last strange thought?

If Endgame would psychically know if I killed Amery and dumped his body? I don’t know, that Nag has something cryptid about her, I wouldn’t be too surprised if she got revenge in my dreams or something.,,

What's something you're scared of?

Being in a situation where hearing is needed and not being able to look after myself. I could not take the shame of having to rely on someone, especially because i make a point of letting them know i don't need them. I aim not to be a hypocrite.

I also have a phobia of explosive devices but to be honest, I don’t get that triggered often.

Valentine, she is my only horse, and she can be stupid, but less stupid than other equines.

Do you really enjoy riding horses? or are you doing it for another means?

Riding is alright, but i prefer the companionship. If i could miraculously hear again, I’d get my old job as a police officer back and keep Val as a pet.

Buy my mother a house in the countryside and make sure she has everything she ever wanted. Also, maybe a cat sanctuary, horses can join too.

Something to get by, I don’t have passion for any of the careers i can do as a deaf person. (Aka not policing)

I’m not into silly and risky disciplines, life is precious, but maybe classical dressage instead of english dressage, although maybe if ground tricks were included as a discipline, Val loves to learn new things.

My dah taking me to his work for the first time, and getting to see a foal being born, just me and him rather than all my siblings hogging attention.

Flaw… I can be paranoid sometimes, and maybe I lack patience, but only when really pushed by certain people 🙄

At the moment it is Gala, because Esse is being really hard to train, but she has a lot of potential, and Gala is very temperamental, so maybe it will change.
